Tebex Product Updates - September 2025

As summer wraps up, we’re excited to share what’s new on Tebex and what’s just around the corner. This month, we focused on making the Control Panel more intuitive, improving subscriptions, and laying the groundwork for even more powerful checkout options.

Tebex Product Updates - September 2025

Tebex Free Plan - Unlocking your Success

We believe in empowering creators of all shapes and sizes. This is at the core of our DNA, and we have unlocked more features for creators on the Free plan, helping them kick-start projects faster.

Control Panel — Category Types

We’ve improved the UI/UX of the Categories page so creators can more easily understand how each type behaves.

  • Cumulative Categories: Customers upgrading only pay the difference.
  • Tiered Categories: Customers can upgrade or downgrade between subscription levels and only pay the difference.
  • Default Categories: Standard package listings with full checkout features.

Important notes & FAQs:

  • You can change existing Default categories to Cumulative.
  • You cannot change Default categories to Tiered (since coupons, sales, gift cards, and other checkout features aren’t supported for Tiered).
  • For webhook behavior, refer to our [documentation].

Tiered Category Type Expansion

Tiered subscriptions are now available across all authenticated project types, allowing creators to offer flexible upgrade/downgrade paths to their customers.

Project Dropdown Visibility

The project dropdown (with options like Manage Project) is now displayed even if you only have a single project. This helps creators who are starting out but planning to add more projects in the future.

Bug Fixes

We’ve rolled out several fixes, including:

  • Gift card usage on regional pricing.
  • Subscription webhook status reporting.
  • Mobile logout errors.

Coming Soon

Checkout

  • We’re expanding APAC payment coverage, including additional support for Alipay, and adding additional payment options such as WeChat, Paytm (India), GCash (Philippines), and GrabPay (Southeast Asia).
  • Checkout for Business: Customers who are businesses will automatically receive invoices after payments are complete.

Multiple Images per Package

Showcase your packages with richer visuals by adding multiple images per package. Head over to the package editor for more info.

Payments Portal

A new, streamlined Payments Portal is in development. Customers will be able to manage their payments and subscriptions more easily, and creators will have the option to embed this portal directly into their stores.

Control Panel

  • Package Bundles: Create bundles of packages for sales, promotions, or special events.
  • Multiple Images per Package: Showcase your packages with richer visuals.
  • Project Flow Improvements: A smoother invitation and onboarding experience when adding team members or creating new projects.
